Visiting ESTEC in Noordwijk, Netherlands

The AMPEX team has been invited to visit the European Space Research and Technology Center (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands. Excited to see, what the professionals were currently working on and what they would show to us, we started our journey to the scientific research facility in the early morning. As we cooperate with our fellow project partners from VU Amsterdam, we got to enjoy the trip through the labs and the big halls of ESTEC together. It was a big honor for us, to be shown around by Bernard Foing, who spent his time answering our questions about space, IGLUNA and beyond.

The last few hours were used to do some group discussions and workshops about different space related topics. Furthermore, networking and the exchange of ideas and concepts was the main focus in the afternoon.

With time passing fast, a productive day came to an end.
